MALAYSIA
MUSIC These are the musical insruments that are used as communication: Rebana Ubi or the Giant Drum . Malaysia is seperated into western and traditional types. The most popular traditionl instrument in Malaysia is the the Kompong. the Kompong is used in alot of common occasions such as the National Day Parades. Another instrment is the Sape. The Sape is a traditional flute of the Orang Ulu community. There are also two different traditional Orchestra's called the : gamelan and the nobat. The gamelan music plays ethereal muis and the nobat plays solemn music. Modern music is almost like western pop music but sing in Malaysian language. There is an example of of traditional Malaysian music. PLEASE LOOK DOWN.

HISTORY For many centuries, Malaysia was a group of states that were ruled sepatately by a sultan. During wirld war 2, Japan invaded Malaysia and then took over Malaysia until the Japanese people were defeated at the end of the war in 1945. Malaysia got it's independence by Great Britian in 1957. Tanku Abdul Rahman was the countries first Prime Minister. Sarawak and Sabah became a part of Malaysia in 1963.
EXPORTS AND IMPORTS (TRADE) These are the countries that Malaysia exports to: USA, Sinapore, Japan,Tiawan, Netherlands and more countries in the world. Theses are the countries that import to Malaysia: Japan, USA, Singapore,Soth Korea, tiawan and more countries in the world.. Malaysia grows many products including palm oil, rubber, cocoa, pepper, coconuts and rice. Japan,USA and Singapore are Malaysia's most important trading partners.
LANGUAGE The language of Malyasia is Bahasa Malaysia, it is also known as Malay. Other groups in Malaysia have their own language, and Malay is their second or third language. Chinese, Tamil, and English are some of the languages spoken in Malaysia. Most Malaysian people speak some English in tourism industries.
TOURISM Thousands of tourists visit the Malaysian resort centres of Langkawi and Penang, which are very famous for luxurious hotels and white beaches. Package hoildays are very famous with tourists. Backpackers visit Malaysia to admire the culture.,beaches and to climb Mt Kinabalu. Malaysia is a popular country for people to spend holidays. Tourists from lots of countries come to relax on the white sandy beaches and swim in the clear seas. Hikers and other hloiday-makers visit mountains and hilly regions such as the Cameron Highlands. Rainforest parks and reserves attract tourists and it is also protecting the local wildlife. Some tourists stay in longhouses of the Iban. There they the traditional life of the Daykans. In 1990, 1994, 1998, the government encouaged foreign tourists to visit Malaysia. In 1998, the country hosted cmmonwealth games.
NATURAL RESOURCES Malaysia is rich in natural resources such as oil ,timber and natural gas.
