CELEBRATION Malaysians take part in celebrations with the other religions in the country. people who follow other religions in Malaysia, such as Hinduism and Buddhism, take part in their own festivals throughout the year. In Melaka, around september or october, Hindu worshippers show how faithful they are by taking part in firewalking ceremonies. Ramadan- During the ninth month of the Muslim calendar, Muslims fast (do not eat) during the daylight hours. this is a period known as Ramadan.. These are the celebration dates of Malasia: 1 January New Years Day January/February Chinese New Year March/April Easter and Muslims new year May Wesak Day( celebrated Buddha's birth,life,death and enlightenment) 31st October National Day November Deepavali (hindu's festival of lights) Ninth month of the Muslim calendar Ramadan tenth month of the Muslims calendar hari Raya puasa( Muslim feast at the end of Ramadan). FOOD Malaysian food is spicy with a mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian cooking styles. Lots of food are served in a bowl with noodles, and are eaten with chopsticks. The soup left in the cup is drunk straight away from the bowl. steamed rice is with a meal. Fast food means a quick bowl of noodles or soup, with vegetables or meat. MANUFACTURING Manufacturing is making items to sell. Malaysia makes clothes and shoes for exports. The manufacture of computer parts is a growing industries. Malayisa is the world's largest country to sell computer disk drives.
